Video phase develops a new hybrid art form combining music, video and technology in a single object. They create universes where music and visuals are totally fused, one being the representation of the other and vice-versa. The interactive nature of the visual in their performances enables performers to improvise while preserving the transient essence of a live show. Alongside their stage productions, they also create permanent digital installations and immersive experiences. Through their adept use of technology, they aspire to immerse the audience in a genuine multisensory encounter.

Their second creation, Lumens, unveiled in 2017, won first prize from Mécènes investis pour les arts and the Opus award for “concert of the year, musique actuelle et électroacoustique”. Lumens has distinguished itself not only on stage, but also in innovative formats such as virtual reality. It has been presented over 60 times in North America and Asia, affirming the band's growing reach and influence.

In 2018, the group presented a Lumens piece in collaboration with the group Sixtrum in the large-scale show Rythmopolis on a large outdoor stage in Montreal's Quartier des spectacles.

In 2020, the group produced The Fourth Wall - Le quatrième mur (http://fourthwall.videophase.net), their first original creation designed exclusively for digital broadcast. This project was developed during the pandemic's confinement and continued to explore new trends.

In 2024, Alt-Escape marks a new milestone for Video Phase, presenting an hour-long digital experience that transports viewers into interactive sound and visual worlds.
